From a sopping wet Silverstone Stowe .......

Qualified 5th in 1st race , made it to 3rd in 2 laps before ability and ambition got confused and spun out to last place made it back to 12th of 20 .

Qualified on pole for 2nd Race ( sports and saloons ) with one of the fastest times of the day , .003 secs slower than Rod Birley in the previous race , so cuffed there . the heavens opened , i fogged up and let Mike watson take the lead but retained 2nd and 1st /class A .
Rest of the meeting abandoned due to the foul weather .
Silverware on the cars first race, not bad , and only a few bits of damage to sort out . Roll on Brands GP circuit 20th November !!

the car is like a missile revs freely and wheelspins in EVERY gear , even with the wets on today ...

Thanks MArkkkk , im well chuffed ( and full of vindaloo now ) made my old car look stupid , before i made myself look it ! Goes like a scalded cat and to compete with Rods 4wd lap times and his 600hp made me smile , all ive got to do is keep it on the balck stuff and im away !

ahaaaaaaa the celebratory beer and curry

you just cant beat it !! pukka m8 !!!

 

The motor racing is fun , but its nothing without that beer and curry feeling !!!

I bet Schuey still does it ! And it makes up for the little Trophy , cant get a beer in it baaaaahh !! Whata buzz tho , cant describe it !

I do both the Southern sports and Saloon series and the Track and race car c/ship , won class B last year , by a mile !

Not sure what else is on the bill for the 20th Nov , will find out tho !

no restrictors in my c/ships , they did try it in the Ford saloon car challenge a while back but not any more . today any boost was too much , rod was on his lowest setting and i was fumbling with my reg all the way round earlier today , later it got so wet that i couldn't wipe the screen , look at the boost gauge and do adjustments without the hairpins getting very close and missing my braking points , wherever they are supposed to be !
reminds me , put back the tea towel before she notices !
