its runnin md240r ,
and 8 803's inj set up,
8.6:1,
piper 509's
in car 33psi peak, 30psi held,
on dyno got 447lbft at 5k at 32psi and 504bhp at 7k at 26psi on super unleaded
woz live mapped by my engine bloke a week b4 at 27 psi held with a boost leak,
and it let go on a top speed run,on moday nite at 1am
i have a wb lambda in there, egr and charge temps,
was 12.3afr, 1600 feren hieght and 42 deegrees in take

just gota few questions,

norm charge temps on a 160-180mph run,
max charge temps
best fuelin figure at full chat, eg lambda, afr or %
good norm water temp
max safe water temp
good and safe ex temps

im sur if you aimed for 11.7:1 you wont be far wrong,, but im no pro,, have you got an egr gauge?

the same bloke who dyno'd it, all good wen mapped, no det on his det can, 12.3 afr on mine and 0.82-3 on his altronic lambda. but cos of my box i cant hear the engine, ex in 5th gear where its direct drive(quite).
2 and 3 piston let go.

Yeah thats him lol Its sitting in his garage still after it blew up I aint spoke to him for a year so i take it that it still is he could not be arsed with it shame really and he won't let me have it to get it sorted out. But it could be any where as last time i saw him i wanted to see the car and he would not let me in the garage it was like he was hiding a dead body in there Im in surrey now! who you work with Chris? he done a bit of welding on it where the tunnel was done for the box it needed a bit more so he sorted it out! And done the engine rebuild which blew up after a few thousand miles

cracked a 205 block and melted a plug on a stg3 spec.

What plug no did it melt, What fuel pump do you have, How fast was it going when it melted and how long on the throttle,
the Automter egt can you convert the max temp to C,
If you are flat out at 180mph I would like to have seen under 11.9af,

Mark will obviously be alot better at me at diagnosing it, but what is your wiring loom like? did one injector fail possibly?

 

plug woz a champion but not a 57/9,
i am runnin a 044 pump, i checked it 4.7ltrs a minute in my car, about 1600 oF =850 oC,
it woz on a run from 30mph to 170mph on my snooper and my bro road angle(7.2k rpm in 6th gear), had been runnin before hand with fan on and bonnet up, oil temp at 85 oC, water at 85 oC, water inj woz fitted that day

 

What piston make are you using and Head gasket, Was it on the same tank of fuel as when mapped, If not what make was it on when mapped and when engine went, water/air temp gauges did you take readings from.

loom woz find on the dyno, but No 2&3 let go together,
it woz my next thing, a pectel loom and and moniter.
mark its your old ecu remapped off cirel.

same fuel but after a refill, esso super, off of a pectel moniter, wen he mapped it, and gauge in car didnt move any higher, charge temp is one of mike rainbirds, woz same as the moniter wen mapped.
