Default what sort of power with this set up?

just wondering what sort of power I'd get from this set up?

engine:
piper 285t2 highboost cam, very highley ported and polished head, big valves, bored out to 1640 with 0.5 oversized forged pistons with standard rods, lightend and balanced bottom end and flywheel.

t3 standard turbo
pipercross filter
3" stainless pipe
pace double capacity intercooler
195bhp turbo systems ecu
.31 actuator

and what if I put a stage 2 hybrid turbo on

cheers

u should see around 200 bhp but the intercooler will be the most restricting part of ur spec really u need a full width one, then it would be the std rods, there only good for 230bhp

Thumbs up

was wondering what those rods could handle, large intercooler will be a must then.

just got the engine in today had it ticking over then my bottom rad hose blew off and pissed coolant all over my electrics (nice) leading to blown fuse and the battery decide to go flat just to make it even better.

back to it tommorow night tho. Cheers Kev

I've seen plenty of RST's make more than 230bhp on standard rods...

change the turbo and cooler and 200@wheels is within range if fuellin is ok

thing is you can never guess power by lookin at spec, too many other factors can limit power, for one the meterin head, that will dictate how much boost you can run safely,as said but if everythin is runnin as it should(which is rare for an rst) then changing the above should see 200@wheels imo
