i'm soon going to be dropping a (escort) turbo engine into my car.
the engine currently has a drilled airbox with no filter in it. would i be best to get an undrilled OE airbox and a performance panel filter, keep the drilled airbox and fit a performance panel filter or just get an induction kit.
the car is going to be used daily still (hopefully
) and looks are second to function at the moment.

dont really know mate tbh,AVA cut it,they usually check airbox temps so would presume they done it for a reason, its just enlarging the area that it already takes cold air in from
I don't think theres a "beter" option more preference to be honest. Most tests I've seen aren't conclusive. I'd prefer an airbox because I'm fed up with water running from the vent and pooling in the filter.
