Default What car for 15k???? Help guys

What car would you buy for 15k. Has to be a car that will hold a 'reasonable' value, and NOT ford.

Thanks

Golf GT TDI 150. Decent diesel engine, think you can get a reasonable one for around Ł15K then another Ł500 ish to have it live mapped or chipped and easy see 180 bhp with over 300 lbft

The Cossie prob handles better

I test drove one only 1 yr old and tbh it was a bit soggy on the ride front But that engine pulls like a train and revs right up to 5k rpm

Get her a Golf GT TDi. Who cares if your mates have em, they are REALLY awesome cars. It's not all about the pruchase price either.... yeah you can go and buy other cars already mentioned, but have you looked at both the insurance costs, fuel/running and servicing costs........ you can easily wank much more on these that would out way a lot of cars on depreciation.

Granted the Golf's are not cheap, but they hold there value, go like shit off a shovel and are very resonable to run. You can also park it anywhere without fear of some slag keying it or trying to nick it.

The TT's are nice but imho are way over priced for that engine.
