What is the best braided fuel hose to run in-car?

I have heard that some cheaper brands allow fuel fumes through?

teflon inner I here is the way to go, also heard of CPE Inner but not sure what that is??

Mine are PTFE lined and have no problems with fumes in the car

 

go for the goodridge 811 series hose, or another ption is the pro gold range or startlite hose available from think automotive,

pro gold is available in nomex covered too

Does'nt the pro gold from Think need to use there own fittings?

Also who is the most reasonable supplier

 

With Goodridge 811, do you have to use their special fittings or can you use the Aeroquip fittings?

yes you can only use the fittings designed for the 811 hose

Got a quote on Earls today which wasnt to bad.

Anyone delt with them before?

 

I use think for everything, the pro gold fittings were given to me though and I was later informed that they were VERY expensive so I've used a alloy fitting which is black and has a blue nut on it that Think supplied me.

Just speak to them and tell them what your after and they will be able to help you out.

The lined hose isn't Earls or Aeroquip, its a hydraulic style hose they do and its MUCH cheaper than the branded stuff, no idea on what it was called but they told introduced me to it.
