Unhappy Very Sad Day

Well after just 7 months of ownership, I today said good by to 15 years in waiting. I sold the car to a genuine cossie nut today and paved the way to move forward with a new project.

I lost my heart with it after some twat keyed the car over and damaged the front wing, it was a sad day to see the old girl drive up the road, gleaming in the april sunshine.
For me the car will always hold the most special place in my heart and NO car will ever match her for looks and that wow fator. But being fair i was hounded by the Police all the time and in the end i snapped, So for me my heart was not in the car and i am glad in many ways to see her go to a good home.

Thanks to all the guys that have replied to my posts and made owning a cossie so very special. The people that own the cosworth brand are by far the most close knit groups in the car industry.

HAIL THE BLUE OVAL

Kind Regards

Gareth

It is a Love Hate relationship with these Cars. I'm sure it was a tough decision to let it go.

Guys, the cossie will always be the key to my heart, and pound for pound, i do not think that there is any car that creates so much wow factor.
Who is not to say that i will not own another cossie and keep it in a glass cage, but for the time being i have had to let it go.

No doubt i will always be attatched to the blue oval and the rs badge. The cossie will always hold the most special place in my heart.

I am looking forward to getting the m3, should be a nice car with no problems.

If any one has any info on the e46 m3 smg cab i would be glad to know

Know how you felt when you sold it Garath...........Felt exactly the same, and I'd had mine for 16 years.

Maybe one day I might return.

Yep.....it's hard to find a suitable replacement for a Cosworth, if you don't want to go Japanese. I considered TVR (Reliability Issues put me off in the end), Renault Clio V6 Sport (Mid Engined fantastic car, but just not quick enough and abit sparce inside), Vauxhall Monaro (Still too new and too expensive at the time), M3's and M5's (Went for the M5 in the end, but it was very close between that and the M3). Good Choice (BMW M Power Car) you've made though.

I'm sure you'll love it........Build quality is VERY good, and because they're so refined, acceleration and speed is very decieving. They do exactly what it says on the packet.
