Following on from a topic the other day, Why are Short Wheelbase cars no good for the Rear Wheel Drive treatment?

not sure to be honest

Something about swapping ends at the drop of a hat, but saying that my mates RWD Fiesta Cosworth is VERY controlable

wasnt the 6R4 RWD or 4WD

Really dont know. I would guess that perhaps its got to do with leverage etc in terms of stability.

The further the Rear wheels are from the fronts, the less effort it will take to keep it in a straight line?

They become very twitchy and easier to spin basically (although there are a million and one other variables!)
