4wd focus RS spotted testing at the ring

Up on BTG, 6 cylinders, 350 bhp and 4wd

They'll be testing a Mk3 4 wd chassis/drivetrain with a MK2 upper body stuck on it.

More likely, in my humble opinion of course...

If it is 4WD then it's the next Focus RS, as in the one after the one we've all heard about.

I am sure that the next one out will be FWD, the 4WD will be for the model after that due 2010-ish and it won't be the Volvo engine but a new 4-pot turbocharged 2-litre they're currently working on.

All in my very humble opinion of course...

4wd 6 cylinder turbo and 350 bhp from the off? been a while since ford made a 6cyl, recon 500 easy horsepower from a chip and turbo?

In 2010 I bet you'll be seeing pics and images like we're getting now of the current one talking about the 'new' one.

I wouldn't say it will be out, as this is Ford and look how long it took from announcement to forecourt for the first Focus RS, but they're definitely working on a third generation car already.
