Right then people having a row with my mate about the colours of series 1 and 2 RS Turbo's,

i said series 1, Couple of red ones (for racing), a black one (princess di's 1) and the rest white
he said just white.
I said series 2, Red, black, white, merc grey (op extra) and very few silver ones!
He said Red, black, white, grey and very few silver and moonstone ones!

please help me, i may not be right but im sure his wrong

 

series 1 were all white from factory but could have been sprayed for different uses i think ??

 

Was deaf a black one it was princess di's one!! been looking then was a grey one aswell!

 

Only one S1 was black from factory, the Princesses.
S2, White, Black, Merc Grey, White, Rosso Red, and Radiant red.

There was 1 Grey Series 1 that Ford did, it was returned to them by the customer for a repsray as he didn't want it in white!

Never any Silver Series 2's AFAIK. Definately NO Moonstone Series 2's though!

 

didn't they race red 'post office' S1's or weren't they factory

 

There was three red s1s.two proper race datapost cars,and on promotional replica. there were infact two black i believe,one grey and i think there was a blue.you can find out exactly on www.seriesoneturbo.co.uk

 

S2 was available in Nimbus Grey for a short period, then Mercury. Diamond White, Radiant Red, Black. May possibly have been available in Rosso Red early on, can't remember now...

For S1's they were all white apart from a black 1 (princess Di's), a grey 1 (sent back to the factory by the customer), a blue 1 (used in a T.V series) and the 3 sunburst red 1's

 

Err, not sure where I heard this but I heard that there was a Black S1 that was Princess Di's car and a Grey S1 that was sent back to the factory by a customer that didnt want it in white.

Ah, just remembered where I heard it... was in this thread, heard it so much its burnt into my fackin memory for life now.
