Default T3 and T34 Turbos

How much responsiveness is lost between a T34.48 and a T3.48.

The T3 we have can not flow enough air on the track car but it has a smaller compressor wheel than a standard 2wd or 4x4 cosworth, the rear housing is not so much of a major issue.

Now we can send the turbo in and have the front hpousing machined to take a cossie 4x4 compressor wheel but i do have a T34 front end at home and would save some money.

Trouble is we want the car nice and responsive with very little lag thats why i need to know the difference between a T34 with a .48 and a T3.

This is for a maestro turbo track car,

Thank you in advance
