Airbag light/beeping on Focus.
How do I get the light to go out, and the beeping to stop? Took my airbag seats out, and removed passenger airbag, and steering wheel coming off shortly..
You need a 'squib' to replace each airbag you've disconnected so that the RCM still thinks they are there.
Consists of a 0.47ľf capacitor (Maplin RA52G) and 2.2Ω resistor (Maplin M2R2) in series.

All that's in the How to are pictures of soldering the two components together, insulating/protecting them with heatshrink sleeving, and sticking them into the wiring connector.

Not usually.
The POST carried out by the RCM clears the fault code. Your either thinking of the activation log generated light or the powertrain DTCs generated and logged by the PCM and turning on the MIL.
