hey all... well since the snow my cars been having problems.. i drove 180 miles in the snow and it was fine but on the a1 nearly home i put my foot down off the round about and lost all power.. was running but had a really bad miss... dropped the gears till i could accelerate and floored it to try beat the miss and it went.. was bit iffy everytime i got to accelerate from low speed but after a while it was fine .. checked the ht leads are all on fine and i did fit new plugs a week ago (since the plugs it has developed this trouble)... but today i went out to start her.. and for some reason it took ages to start.. when it did it was ticking over really rough and then driving it had a really bad miss again.. i took her round the block and checked the leads again .. once she warmed up it was fine.. but what could be causing this?

Unplug the MAF and see if she gets better? If so clean the MAF.

 

still got the old plugs? try sticking them back in. I'd suggest coilpack could be faulty.

Check Coilpack, leads, plugs.. Mass Air Flow sensor.
Zetec-s is that a fiesta? if so its on the exit of the air box.
