ggr extended driveshafts
hi guys. i got an ggr extended driverside front driveshaft for my escos fitted on friday because the car is pretty low on coilovers and this was what i was told to do. i havnt had the car long so only done about 500 miles on the standard driveshaft myself but didnt want it popping out. after picking the car up from the garage i covered about 5 miles and put my foot down and it started vibrating heavily, it does this whenever i excelerate. the garage had shut so took the car home carefully. today i raised the car about 30mm after inspecting the driveshaft just took the car out and its got a lot better but hasnt gone. any ideas would be appreciated thanks matt.
matt you need to check if your engine mounts are ok this is a common cause for vib under accel and also helps to pop a standard shaft out of the inner joint.
bring it back to the garage and get them to check first that they left nothing loose and second to see if the mounts are gone

it will be your new driveshaft locking up on the inner cv cup, does the vibration get worse when turning right?
these longer driveshafts are of no use unless you are running massive negative camber. a standard driveshaft with uprated engine mounts will be fine. if u are that concerned about the driveshafts pulling out then fit some adjustable tcas to correct your suspension geometry, car will drive a lot better & it will save u wearing out your front tyres
