cometic exhaust manifold gaskets

cometic exhaust manifold gaskets
Are they as good/better than the OE ford ones? The cometic ones feel a bit light and not as beefy as the OE ford ones. No reason to doubt them really just wondered if anyone had any comments/experiences before I fit them

I have them from Matt Lewis and rag the bum off the car, no problems after thousands of miles.

Np probs matey, I also use Cometic inlet gaskets, just as good, pity they don't do the one between the elbow and plenum though on 2wd!!

I used LOCTITE 5910 to seal the gap between the bits on mine.

I have a 4x4 plenum to go on mine so no worries there

Cometic exhaust manifold gaskets are very poor quality. Stick with OE cosworth Reinz gaskets.

I have never even heard of anyone having a problem with these COMETIC exhaust gaskets, have you had many fail then ?
