Default How tight is your garage

I just put my car in the garage and i REALLY need to get some carpet on the walls so i dont do any damage knocking the door against it

If i wasnt such a slender chap then getting in and out would be a pain

Sounds like it is nearly as tight as your pocket then!!!

You wanna try to learn how to reverse properly if you need carpet on the walls you gayboy. I can get mine within an inch of the passenger door mirror against the wall.

You have to swing them in at an angle mate and then straighten up, when you have hit the side wall with the rear passenger side quarter you know you are close!

Just dont try and jack the car up from the side in the garage.... I did that and smashed the (opposite side) passenger wing mirror in to the wall!!!

Then again...... you never do any work on your car so that would never happen.

Ive got an inch each side of the frame on the mirrors while driving in, then have to squeeze out the door when parked (i really need to loose some weight! )
A plastic for sale board nicked from next door does to trick to stop the door getting damaged

very snug, the saph just fits in (cheapo newly built garages) but the old E36 325i went in easier than entering Abi Titmuss!

word of warning tho, dont reverse in tooo fast like a lad i know did (he was greek), way too fast in his Mk4 XR3i and hit the back wall and the pull out stereo (this was 10yrs ago remember) flew out its cage and landed on the parcel shelf. Needless to say he wrote the car off, and crushed his mums moped to death too
