Hi, this might sound a bit stupid, but where are the big turbo escort cossie fuel pump relays situated?? I was told they are in the engine bay but have also been told they are on the fusebox, which is correct??

And another question, when you turn on the ignition and the fuel pump primes it should switch off after a couple of seconds, what is it that controls the pump to switch off?? is it the ECU or the relays??

i am 99% sure they are in the fuse box on an escos and it is the ecu that controls the relays.

 

Yep 100% the relay for the PUMP is on top of the Fusebox.

Could this not be a faulty relay, holding the circuit open. maybe...
