secs monitor volt reading

Default secs monitor volt reading

with the ignition on but not running secs reads 12,6 volts then when i run engine it reads about 13 volts but if fans come on and lights on it drops as low has 10.8 some times is this normal

Absolutly no.
When engine running, you should obtain 13.8 volts.
I think you have alternator charging pb.

I had a similar problem - alternator was really low volts. Change the voltage regulator thingy on the alternator itself - it worked for me.

when running 13.7-13.8 is about right but if u are at idle the voltage will drop slightly depending what load u are running eg lights fans stereo

sorted cleaned all the connections on the battry and it now idles at 13.8 volts switched every thing on and still running 12 volts
