Ay up Escos people
Wonder if you can help me....the tailgate spoliers on a escos, what are they made from ie fiberglass or plastic? Ive just picked up a pair for the missuses escort and they appear to be fibreglass but do have Ford stampings on the underside of the lower spoiler...unable to spot much on the whale tail tho???

They were defo not fibreglass, and not plastic .they were some new wierd impregnated poly mould stuff. I remember reading about it some where

 

PU RIM, commonly reffered to as POLYEUROTHANE, as in the same family of stuff as bushes.
They are injection moulded.

hi stu, if the ford markings are under the spoiler when it sits on the tailgate i would think its a proper ford.
any pics (of the car!!)?

 

The marking are probably there because the mould was taken from a genuine one
