As I like to be properly organised, I am going to have to say that if I haven't had 15 payments by the end of this week (Saturday), I am going to cancel this event.
Shame, but there you go. I need to make arrangements in terms of staff/catering etc and am not prepared to take the risk of this being a no-show.

i've always said i'll be there, i've even taken the day off of work especially
if no one else is prepared to cough up then fair enough, but if it's a pf event, tensions have been a bit "difficult" for some reason over the past few months although i couldn't put my finger on it

If only everyone was as prompt and organised as you Marc.
I really enjoy hosting these days, but sorting things like catering is a trust thing, if I tell the catering firm that there is a big RR day planned and no-one turns up and they have a load of fresh burgers etc, it doesn't bode well.

ok, so if i were, for example, to pay by paypal, c&b lose some money when they get it
and if it doesn't go ahead and they refund the money, i'll lose more on the way back
so it's not paypal then
