Lee's parents had a 2.0 137bhp non turbo scooby and it was pretty bad on fuel, and also ridiculously slow to boot.
think the main problem being it revved quite high anyway whilst driving yet it hit the limiter ridiculously early ( almost as low as their a3 diesel )
hmmmm, it's the full time 4x4 i want it for with car like manners and fairly reliable is what i want! a turbo scooby is a bit excessive for what ineed it for!
Used to enjoy racing my mates 2.0 Sport (turbo replica) in my 1.6 Mk3 Escort as I would always win..... and I could pretend to myself it was a real one
great car if your a farmer,,,,,,, apart from that bollox to having one,,,, be better off buying a escort and putting a hole in the fuel tank IMO,,,,,,, would be better on fuel too im sure
