Lee's parents had a 2.0 137bhp non turbo scooby and it was pretty bad on fuel, and also ridiculously slow to boot.
think the main problem being it revved quite high anyway whilst driving yet it hit the limiter ridiculously early ( almost as low as their a3 diesel )

All Subaru's are terrible on fuel My sister had a 2.0 sport and when she borrowed my Legacy turbo she said the turbo was actually better on fuel.

high 20s, there is no reason to have a car THAT slow which is still shit on fuel IMHO

like any permanent 4x4 they will suffer from poor economy caused by transmission drag. good cars though, very well built

The only N/A Subaru Impreza worth having is 06-07 model. Other then that they are pointless, unless you drive 300 days in a year in snow.
