new clutch for my escos
guys my monte needs a clutch, wot would be the best 1 for it? its been stage 3 tuned.
and do you think its easy enough to do on the drive or should i put it in the garage to be done?

AP organic would be fine (avoid 'cheap' clutch companies)
if your ok with doing gearboxes etc then it shouldn't be too much of a chore to do on the drive, remove the front prop (4 allen bolts) then its the same as a normal rwd box. Will probably need 2 of you to get the box back on, there not light!

If it were me i would go standard again, its the weak link in the drive train and would rather the clutch give up than the box or diffs. Should handle 300bhp any way. I had a stg3 sapph on std clutch and never had any probs.
Stage 3 is to much power on a std clutch, slips to much when launching.
can only recomend uprated pressureplate and std clutch plate, this will also slip and can take about 400 bhp/500nm (did in my car anyway) and my std gearbox took about 70 full bore launch control launches, and 25k km before 3. gear let go(clutch lasted this long also)
