to do a oil pump gasket,sump gasket and the dizzy drive seals etc!(while my head is off?always had a little oil leak and aint sure where it was coming from so while the head is off

 

if heads off, take the bottom end out and do it on a stand

is the car 2wd? if so then its a very easy option all things considered, much better than trying to do it in the car

 

If we are talking YB then the oil pump does not have a gasket.. The pick up pipe to oil pump does though....

 

yer fella yb and yes 2wd is it just sealant then?what bout the dizzy drive pulluy i see its got a seal around the pulley but what bout the housing for the pulley?take it the sump has sealant as well?if it a case as taking it out take it u dont have to drop the crossmember etc or get the gearbox out the way to get the engine out?might as well get a 200 block at this rate
