Fuel lines

Hi, Can i use my origional ERST fuel lines and adapt them for the EFI fuel rail ??
I know you should change them for xr3i efi lines but i was just wondering how everyone else has done it ???

you just need to run a line from the fuel filter outlet to the fuel rail- jobs a good un
