been replacing box on my turbo and the long driveshaft plug bit that plugs into gearbox just pulls on and off end of it. Is there supposed to be something that holds it on to the drive shaft so it doesn't pull off with ease.

any help with this as it seems like there should be a clip or something holding the socket bit on to the driveshaft itself.

 

there should be a c clip on the inner cv joint if thats what your talking about.
are you talking about the inner cv joint into the gearbox or the shaft into the inner cv joint? there should be c clips on all parts to hold all of the drive shaft together
