can i run an rs turbo engine on an xr3 tank?

i know about the swirl pot carry on but what could go wrong???

Nothin will go wrong i ran a turbo motor in an xr3i for years with no probs and didnt change the tank

 

XR3i has the swirl pot as it was with an injection system to begin with. XR3 is a different story. The risk is that the fuel pump will occasionally suck air when the tank is below quarter full while braking or turning.

 

As JesseT says you will need an xr3i tank, xr3 wont do.

 

ive got a tank & swirl pot for the boot now & petrol cap for the 1/4 window
