ive got a les hicks rear cage mate, nice and chunky, mine was polished but i had it powdercoated satin black to follow the theme im going with, then i got some big grey foam tube to protect it. ill get some pics up asap for you if ya want. be prepared for people to say why bother with show cage though ie that it can do more damage than good etc in an accident.

mine was the same as in the one t28 showed, apart from the diagonal went to top at drivers side

was purely a cosmetic thing as it was done as a car audio demo car

car never got given much abuse, no thou i would only put in a proper fia cage

horses for courses i guess

mate, mines just like t28`s cage but without the diagonal n obviously powdercoated satin black. if i remember, they bolt through the floor 3 times on each upright and then 2 times through the rear arches with big fook off bolts and washers.

I couldn't have a show cage..... would be far too much of a pisser if I landed on my roof and squashed my head all beacuse of a tinfoil cage that just looks pretty..... (and still looses half your interior!)

mines like that phat fucker in the above pics, still retaining my complete interior. im thinking along the lines that if i were in an accident where i ended up on the roof id rather have mine fitted than not one at all even though its only classed as a show cage, but thats just my personal preferance.

i could of gone for a proper weld in cage but i liked the fact i could remove it with little fuss reverting it back to standard if i choose to do so, personally i dont see the fuss whether its a show cage or proper weld in cage unless your on track really.
