Default Question for all RST owners Re:Cylinder heads (example pics)

Hi all

Has anyone got a cylinder head on their RST that has 'cross hatching' ( like a raised grid pattern #) across the front between the spark plug holes, along the back of it where the numbers are, and inside the between the rockers and valve springs??

If you have could you please tell me what year your RST is?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, no really!

Thanks so far for all the help youve given me so far with the pics, youve really helped me out where others just muck me about!

Sounds like a very late one ,

you see a lot of FRST heads and XR2i heads like this ,

I have had loads of RST's none newer than a 89 and they have all had the plain ones .

Has yours got the pattern on it like mine?

Without the head on me ( at Burtons ) i cant realy give much info, apart from it had round exhaust ports and was unleaded

If i can identify what head it is ill be able to get a another one
