I heard someone claimed that there are some modifications on the RS500 panser
grills??

Is it true?????
I have never seen any differences!

just for the record the Rs500 is an evo 3dr cossie

changes to the rear beam/head/front anti roll bar/ different front bumper /different top rear spoiler/bottom spoiler / 8 injector fuel raill/ t4 tubro/bigger inter cooler / thermo housings/ bigger hoses/ bigger air box / air scoop to air box /thicker block ect


these wre the last 500 on production line that were built as 3drs that went to tickford to be converted to Rs500

 

What was different regarding the front ARB then?

Hi LHD - as far as I know the bonnet vents are identical but that site says not??? ARB is the same too as far as I know Matt.

defo not mate the Rs500 uses a saff front anti roll bar(H13 or H14 cant remeber) it's 10mm longer for better striaght line stabilty they were all recalled to have these fitted

If I remember correctly the front arb was changed mid production on the 3dr, so the batch of 3drs that were converted to 500s would already have had the revised front arb fitted - its not a change Tickford did as part of the conversion

 

Just checked the special parts list and nothing said in there? Am I missing something as I thought I had all the recall papers for my car too?

I know it was something along these lines all i know that all of the rs500 had the saff anti roll bar fitted or we recalled to have them fitted
