i think you could get non custom S2's, pretty rare. they had no sunroof, and no e/windows etc???

Yep I had a non custom S2 on a d plate with no sunroof, I was told it belonged to Peter Shelton (if that spellings correct) The ex england goalie.

Story goes it went in for work at a dealers with 2800 miles on the clock and was never picked up and stood at the back of their yard forgotten for years until somebody bought it and put it back on the road.

TBH it was a piece of shit when I got it and I have no idea if this story is correct. I did a deal with a so called friend and never saw the cash, friend or car again so no idea if its still about.

 

hmm cheers lads, didnt realise you could get non custome series2's just like you could with series1's....forgot to add tho, on a 'H' plate?

 

i think it was only earlier cars, maybe before 87?

if its H reg, probably a reshell

 

yea and some very early ones didnt even have recaros or colour coded mirrors

 

I think you will find all H plates came with more or less every option!

End of run push them out the door stuff!

ive got a e reg non custom

 

ive got a 1988 e reg s2 non custom in grey. been told theres was only about 50 made non custom and in grey that is. Also had a non custon s1 last year that was a c plater
