Long Stud 200 Block Cosworth Race Bearings and weight matched rods
Ported polished head, with matched ports on 8:1
BD14 Inlet and Standard Exhaust & Iskys
WRC Gasket
Roller Bearing T38 on Air Injectors
Would that do a genuine 450bhp and simlar Torque

Think bud-wise is thinking of the UT T38 that isnt ment to give massive torque figures but have seen them used with a 36psi+ spike.
If there was enough boost then thatspec should give close to 450 if its on a TT T38 think the UT one is only rated to around 430 but will do slightly more if pushed hard.

yeah tbh i can only be sure of the UT one, which on my old car mapped by Karl was running 424bhp and 390lb/ft (peaking 2.1bar and holding 1.7).
same car mapped by MAD i 'think' made 442bhp and 368lb/ft ( not sure on boost levels tbh .
In answer to the original question though, i think that it will get as near as dammit to it anyway.

Jase hasn't got a T38 yet, so if it's the TT one he needs and not the UT one then i'm sure that's what he'll go for
He is a proper hater of lag though hence why he's mentioned the roler bearing core

to be honest i dont like the t38s cos your inbetween 400 and 500 bhp teritory. with the engine spec and comp ratio id go for the t4 type gt30 roler bearing and 55lb siemens.no lag close to 500bhp and over 400lb/ft easy and al that with 2 bar or less
Neil, LOWER than 7.2:1!?
Why?

Hmmm, deffo want roller bearing core (dont want lag as my lover Dan as mentioned), but really would be stuck on turbo, i just dont fancy GT series, my theory has always been smallest turbo possible to achieve the power you want.
im not chasing number so 430 in all reality would be cool, but it must be drivable and pin you, like a car to have plenty of torque.
im cllecting parts this year to do it next winter, but want to get it right

I just drove a saf with a t34/48 , standard comp, cams etc etc for over 100 miles and it felt pretty similar to mine.
Probably more responsive and slight in gear but nothing major really considering mines has all the big lag parts

not sure if it helps but my car is nearly ready for the road and i have a standard engine with a harvey spec ut 38 as advised by stu because he was doing the chip.
we reckon it should just make 400 and 380 with standard head and cams at 2 bar peak and 1.8 held.
might get to drive it soon so ill tell you what the harvey ut38 is like

whats wrong with what you have? go for 400 400 on the turbo you have, nice and responsive and doent run out of puf to fast, it seems to me that al thing s are a compromise with the yb and you will not always get the response of a t3 with the legs of a gt35 lol also although i agree that smallest turbo to get to the aim will give best response it may also cost most when you get bored i.e. upgrading all the time, if your loaded this is fine if your me this is not lol

yes i've been in it lol around various tracks driving lol, its ok to be honest, its not as quick as mine on a harvey 400 400 spec t35 but its not as expensive and not far off, the boost threshhold (spelling) is high but its a quick car and if you use the gears very drivable not the best but not to bad either also seems to be holding together nicely and rich and me are not gentle on it either.
just yb0611? std group A, hes using, normal stg 3 his was faster than mine at normal stg 3 by a large amount yes it was, but to be honest its hard to remember exactly how much a fair bit iirc, dont fear though its a quick car, unfortunately, or fortunately the company we keep here on pf 400bhp is not much lol but out on the road its a quick car

to be honest ive changed the spec on my engine three times before i even ran it in....
but all i want is to have a good summer in it and to build a 200 block 500 450 motor over this winter ( obviously to keep up with pf fashion lol)
