CAMS BD14'S (will they or won't they)
Will they clear or not?I ve had these fitted in a esc cos head with every other component such as guides, valves, followers, stem seals etc etc BRAND NEW.
The head has been flatted, not skimmed. Pistons are std+0.25, not pocketed. Will this end in disaster or will I get lovely compression ?
I am gonna run NOS, blues, T34 head has been ported , enlarged chambers etc.
Head gasket is a triple layered ''wrc'' one.

You need to either machine down the valve platforms in the head or use shorter vlave springs (this is what GGR do) to use BD14's. You also need to have valve cutouts in the pistons, valve to piston contact can occur on a standard engine with std cams, not machining the pistons with these cams will mean contact will occur!
