MPG for X5/RR/Cayenne etc....?
Bugger if i was at work i could of given you a comparison for them all.
The X5 3.0d auto will realistically acheieve 40mpg
I'll have a scout about to see if i can find you the comparibles.

Thanks!!!! I would give you the thumbs up but I can't work out how to attatch the smileys.....!
Quite believe it about the Porsche, I want a new car, ideally a 4x4 as I've never had one but driven one for a month when i was in the states and loved every minute of it. But I aint willing to compromise on MPG though, that's the pissŁr. out of the lot i'd like the 4.4 RR and I've heard the diesel one isn't much cop.

I know they arent to everyones taste, but what about an X3? Get a nice M sport, and they can look the nuts, plus you have the added advantage of getting over 50mpg out of the 2.0d version!!

Sorry, thanks for the suggestion but I think they look awful like something Ssangyong or whatever it is would come out with Lol

I'm getting about 25mpg to my X5 which isn't that bad as I cane it, as I've got a fuel card. I could get a lot more if I took it easy.
Other half's Dad has a Cayenne (non turbo) he's not the slowest of drivers and mainly does motorway runs and he's getting roughly mid 20's. He's chopping it in for a VW equivalent of some sort, but I don't think its the Tourag or whatever it is although its pretty fancy and apparently parks itself
Both are pig ugly. I much prefer the Landcruisers

Range Rover V8s should do late teens to high 20s.
The diesel when chipped (Ł500 or there abouts) is much better, ive seen over 34mpg from one.
What about a Discovery 3?
The tdv6 hse is a great car and in auto can do 36mpg in general motorway driving, ive seen over 40 from them. can also be chipped gives 50bhp and 120nm of torque.

I'm not buying a new one cause I've got an OLD one
Although I wouldn't mind the M6 but I'd need to do some serious arse licking to get one of them. I wouldn't want to fund the fuel costs as I can imagine that been pretty shocking
Those Ssangyong things are disgusting
Ive got a Cayenne Turbo. Had it for 3 years so can tell you to expect around 18MPG from one on average.
On track I get about 6MPG!!!!
Awesome car though. You cannot even compare any other 4x4 against it performance wise. It wipes the floor with the lot of them.
