just found out that my cosworth has a gt 28 turbo

i know absolutely nothing about these turbos,max boost ect,what sort of power they push out,if they are any good ect.......

it on a 4x4 saph with ported head,bd14s,greys

Regarding the turbo, gt28 dont mean much, could be lots of different turbos good for from about 280 to 450. Got any more info or pics?

ask universal turbos,

 

id prefer to go by my own and mates experiences, and ive never known them to fail any quicker than any other turbo.

 

They potentially fail VERY quickly IF you do either of the following:
Dont run a pre turbo oil filter (VERY small restrictor for the oil, so they are easily blocked)
Dont run water cooling (tiny oil flow means it NEEDS the way for cooling unlike a T3)
Dont run a dump valve (shaft is thinner so more likely to distort during surge)
