HI IM CURIOUS HOW MANY HORSES CAN I PUSH WITH THIS ENGINE I DROPPED INTO MY S2 ITS NOT RUNNING YET DUE TO THE BODY BEING DONE .........ITS 1.6 CVH ,EFI ,NEW STANDARD PISTONS ,FULL REBUILD ,PORT AN POLISHED ,SKIMMED HEAD ,STANDARD TURBO ,OMEX 600 ,SCORPION SYSTEM AND THE BIG PACE FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER............

AFTER I RUN THE ENGINE IN IL BE GOIN FOR A HYBRID STAGE 2 FROM TURBOTECHNICS AN EXTERNAL WASTEGATE..IM ALSO HOPEING TO STICK ANTI-LAG SYSTEM IN THER FOR GOOD MEASURE...BUT WOULD I BLOW MY ENGINE UP OR IS THIS SAFE ENOUGH? ITS NOT GOING TO BE AN EVERYDAY CAR BUT I STILL WANT TO HAVE AROUND 250BHP IF POSSIBLE ? ? ?

The engine is more less standard. Factory bits......

i think arp bolts would be your next step befor tring to get to much bhp, not sure what standard bolts are capable of but they ent brilliant

cant remember tbh but the 250 you want is way to much for standard bolts

Got a similar setup myself but with arp bolts...245bhp@1.5bar of boost.
Billyrst: 250bhp is a more realistic figure...don't think you'll bee seeing 300 with that spec!

Ok so il just get myself a different bottom end to work on while im driving with my original engine iv t money for an extended project i suppose .. any info on a engine with a better bottom end that would go with the CVH head i have ??or will i get the same CVH bottom end i have at the moment and do everythin possible to it ??much appreciated
