mich got moved on to the ward last night

now for security resons its like fort knox i can live with that but there ware about 10 people waiting to get on to the ward.the person at the front buzzed & was asked who they had come to see.all good so far till the door opens & everyone goes in whats the FUCKING point of having a locked door.
so we go in & have or visit & mich wanted some extra things so i came home & got them got back to the hospital at 7.55 visiting is supposed to end at 8 .
mich needed to pee so i was watching Jacob while she was gone anyway this jobsworth comes in VISITING IS OVER YOU HAVE TO GO i tried to tell her i was watching my son while my wife went to the toilet before i had finished VISITING IS OVER YOU HAVE TO GO NOW now that really pissed me off so i just stayed put

after mich had come back & with jobsworth still staring at me i said good bye to them both & walked out

as i walked out i asked another nurse what time visiting was as my mam wanted to go over today
the reply was 10 till 4 all good till i said i couldn't make it over & my mother was going

she said well who ever is chosen to visit is the only visitor allowed no swapping over to other visitors. i had to walk away as i was starting to boil

my mam has gone over this morning & i will be going over at about 1.30

i have also just found out mich's sister traveled up from Cornwall last night to see us all so at 1.30 when we go over if they don't let us in i don't know who will snap faster me or her sis

anyway rant over im just pissed off that they have so many stupid rules that just make thing difficult i should be allowed to visit my wife when ever i want
if i was working all day & could only get there say after midnight i should be able to go to see her & my son without people thinking they are god & telling me what to do

Just ignore them and get on with what your doing. Jobsworth cunts like that just love getting reactions to brighten up their dull day and want any excuse to call security.

 

well im happy now they are both home so no one butting in telling us what to & not do the day staff seemed better today

 

nightmare mate......especially when all you want to do is help your wife...

When our lass had our kids in durham hospital the husband was alowed in all day and could come and go as he wished as long as you left the ward at meal times......

and the rest of the family had to stick to visiting times......

 

its right shit there, i dont understand the one visitor thing, i went once to see my uncle, and his 2 kids came with me, dumb nurse wanted me to leave the kids outside while i went to talk to him!!

its right annoying, its as if they dont care tbh

 

ye she spent 2 days in the delivery ward as they were quiet & the staff there were great just needed reminding we were still there lol as they normaly deliver the babys & ship them to the ward nothing was to much trouble for them

 

mate you're better than me. if matey boy had demanded i leave like he did you i'd have dragged him out of the room and properly bashed the twat.

I'd say complain mate tbh, When my mrs had our 1st and 2nd i was in and out at all hours and even fell asleep there for several hours and no one said a word to us, Also had more visitors at one time than anyone else on the entire ward they just kept bringing us more chairs, Midwife was a fucking disgrace this time though so its not all good

 

Doesn't seem that bad that they they were rnforcing ward visiting times to me

The nurses get shit from the doctors if people are seen out of non visiting hours, they go ape shit if there's visitors there when they start doing the ward rounds, or when the cleaners start doing a decontam.

Restricted hours are also for the benefit of the patient and the benefit & respect of other in-patients, remember it's a hospital where rest, sleep, peace & quiet aids recovery.

Deffo complain yeh if someone's been arsey, but if there are just saying looking visiting times over then .

BTW I go onto hospital wards everyday and know how they waork, and what are a fucking fantastic job nurses do. You should be commending them not lashing them over sticking to rules , some people will really moan at FUCK all nowadays.

 

Glad your back at home blacky at least you can chill a bit now. What did the nurse expect you to do just leave you new born baby whiste Mich was at the toilet. The silly arses get them told.

 

well mich has said it was just the one nurse that was a bitch. one of the other patients shouted at her due to being bitchy






i no they do a great job it just takes one person in a bad mood to fuck it for a lot of people & patents
