Toyo T1-S havnt been made for atleast 12months from what i gather. What ever you have been offered will most likley be old stock. I would go for T1-R's or the new R1-R instead.

try the new toyo proxes 4's they are superb in the wet, great in the dry. not off par with the F1's.

wouldn't touch T1R's or S', have driven on both and dont like them, seem good in the dry for a bit, but as said, they are very soft and wear down very quickly, and there abillity in the wet is, erm, interesting, to say the least. I rate Kumho ecsta KU31's much higher, and they are cheaper.

T1S still made but ONLY in certain sizes.
I had the T1R's on, these have a reinforced shoulder to counter the critcism of the "S" with premature shoulder wear problems.
I thought the "S" was better, and the shoulder on the newer "R" version seems to be wearing faster.
I did 14,000 miles on the "S" versions(all four wheels), and 6,000 before the "R"'s were totally worn down with no shoulder visible by this mileage.
I swapped for GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GSD3, in 195/50X15(astra mk3), what a complete pile of dog shite these are, tried them once before, sorry I did not learn my lesson the first time, the only thing they are better at is a bit more comfy.
Prior to the toyo's I had UNIROYAL RAINSPORT 1's, way way way better than the F1 dry or wet.
Bring back YOKOHAMA A008 I say!!
