I'm off to Old Trafford tomorrow. Directions/parking help?
Taking clients down for the Arsenal FA cup game
We usually get a charter flight but thats gone tits up so i was left with the option to drive. Couldnt go 4 up in a maxo so i've hired a range rover sport for the day
So Q is where the hell can i park? I dont want to spend ages after the game waiting to get out because i've got 270 odd miles to drive home
We're leaving aberdeen at 08 00 ish so should be down by 2pm. Any suggestions as to where we could have a nice meal before the game thats not too far from the stadium?
cheers
chop
ps im leaving my liverpool top at home

For parking come off at the Trafford centre/Trafford Park junction (2nd junction as you come over Barton bridge) and follow the road up up towards the swamp, few places to park up there for a couple o quid.
As for food, not too clued up that side without going into the city centre.
There used to be a nice place just 2 mins of J5 of the M61, Chequers restaurant, not been up that way for a while so could have changed.
As you come off the junction follow westoughton and you come to another roundabout, straight opposite is a row of buildings, its the last 1 on the right as you look at it.

So
usually there are 4 people go and always flown down and sometimes stay over.
Flights usually Ł300 ish each
Hotel last time i went was Ł180.
So all in the company pay about Ł2k
then on top there are drinks, meals and last time there were strippers on expenses too as "bar bill" PMSL
I decided to do things in style and enquired about the rangie but really i wanted to take some better toys. The company with the rangie have a 360 and an aston V8 vantage. I was quoted Ł1200 for the 2 for the day. However the 360 was out
Now that would've been cool
Dan
