vw with a difference

here is my mates brothers golf gti,nothing special to look at but it has a 5.0 tvr griffith engine in it which obviously now makes it rwd!

not much to finnish it now as its all up and running

unfortunately i think he might be selling it through lack of time and space but i think it might be my fave golf!

(gonna get some interior and under bonnet pics off him this week).

When I bought my 3 door the guy was only selling caus he was finishing his rear engined Audi rs4 mk1 golf, anyone ever heard if it got finished or heard of a simmilar car, this car just reminded me of it lol

any build pictures ?? I bet it took a fair bit of cutting to get that motor and transmission in..

is that why the exhausts are in the bumper as there's no room under the rear axle ?

Looks great, apart from the exhausts IMO...

nice to see something totally different though..
