Just about to install some gauges and other stuff, need to get wiring through the firewall, sounds easy - but what's the easiest way of doing this???

 

On 2 doors its easy through the wiring grommets and I've seen them go through by the speedo. On mine though to keep things tidy I went through the passenger side big grommet under the battery tray. Quite easy to see from underneath and ideally situated for the oil pressure guage location.

 

Buy some NET CURTAIN wire stuff, the stuff about Ł1 from diy shops and this makes and excellent pull through, I use it all the time, as said big grommet is a good place but make sure you put some sealant around the hole you have to make in it.

on mine there was a spare hole in the big grommet.used that!
