Getting better Nik!
Some are over exposed, some under, some better light positioning required at times but the likes of the last one shows that its all coming together!
Its a tricky thing to get right at first, but when you do its piss easy.
(and some snappers just seem to end up shooting EVERYTHING in that style as well when they've worked it out

Those triggers are so shit, but nothing else for that kinda money does the job. Although you can still get good results if you can work around their senility! This was the last shoot I did before I shelled out big time for the Bowens gear:

Shot with 3 shitty Centon flashes on stands and those very eBay triggers you've got!

There's more on that page if you scroll down too. Not quite the same effect as you're going for there as I've balanced the background exposure in the Capri ones, but I've got some blacked out background ones too I could let you see....
PS, Travelpak doesn't work as a remote trigger, sounded like you thought it did? Pulsars or Pocket Wizards do the trick.
And also you'll need at least two Travelpaks if doing a car as the leads are nowhere near long enough to get the right positioning with just one
