Default Why is this BB contantly slow?

just got back from work and thought I'd have a browse whilst munching my dinner...

Eventually after logging on which took about 10mins I get in.. then it runs slow as fuck.. This has been the case for months so could the owner(s) of this board sort it out once and for all....?!?!?

If its not slow its critical errors...!

I appreciate that Im not a gold member (why pay to have a slow BB that you try to log in, in the hope it works..!) but some do pay.. traders must be well pissed off I would have thought.. but at 20 quid for membershhip, dont the members at least deserve a smooth running board..?

thanks

the only time the admin and/or owners to make any kind of half assed response is when the bloody place is hacked... sad but true.
goldmembers and traders have been treated like shit. nothing will change until those who have been left in charge grow a spine and face up to the yanks. I will be glad to debate any point here but I expect the ban button

i am neither of those people but who i am is not important. its about time there was a proper public debate about what is actually going on here on this site as many are paying users and some use the site as a business tool so performance issues are important to those who care about the place. just because someone else owns it doesnt mean they care and as we have seen, only the deserted admin team are bothered to a point but wont push that extra bit to sort things out unless i am wrong and there is cloak and dagger stuff going on in the dark corners of this place.

i come on when i have nothing else to do...

it annoys me when there are errors and i can't get on, but i just switch off the computer and not worry about it.

It's just not a big deal at all.

Not enough time on COD thats why.

On a serious note, the migration to another server on VBull is not at all as straight forward as some of you may imagine. But its happening, and thats all that counts.

There are some technicalities to iron out, but i think the next week or two will reveal all you need to know.

I never used to get them at all, and when everyon else complained I never had a problem, on some occasions it seemed like I had the forum to myself as nobody else could get online. Now I get them unfortunately.

i dont know how it all works but i do know our bmw site recently changed server even though with almost 30000 members it never had the problems this site has. the site was down for an hour or so at midnight.
i dont understand why people get so bothered tbh though. its only an internet site ,just go out and mix with some real live people for a change instead. and Ł20 a year? if Ł20 means that much to you over a year then best keep it for something more essential like 4 gallons of petrol or a few packets of fags.

I will make a presumption or two then...
It wasnt on PHP to start with...
It didnt have any custom coded PHP features...
It didnt have a PHP garage...
It Didnt have a gold membership scheme that cannot be ported to Vbull...
It didnt move the traffic PF does...

Or

They ONLY moved from one server to another and didnt change software at all? Anyone can do that, its childs play, its almost as easy as moving a folder from your C: drive to a Mates C: drive using a flash disk to be honest. (Massively oversimplified in some ways but not others as you wouldnt actually need to leave your house to swop software from one server to another... lol)
