Hi everyone.

Ive got a mk 2 orion 1.6 i ghia efi. im going to do the 2 litre mondeo engine conversion. i knw you need to do the top engine mount and change the flywheel from the cvh 2 adapt to the zetec flywheel. BUT.. should i go for the rs.1800 i inlet manifold? or chop the engine loom out and put the whole engine loom out of a mondeo in it and connect an ignition live to the ecu etc? and then i can run the mondeo injection system 2 get full potential? and will the mondeo inlet side fit in doesanyone knw? also..sorry to keep going on lol, the exhaust side can i retap the head 2 adapt cvh manifold or will the ports be tiny not allowing gases out will i be best of making an exhaust of the zetec manifold?

U would be better fitting a rs1800 engine to it, the 2.0 is 136bhp and 1.8 130bhp and will rev better, thats what ive got in my mk3 esc

 

my mate has a 2l from a mondeo on twin 40s in an xr2 and he said theres loads of websites that have a set by step conversion guide so if you look around you'll probably out exactly what to do
