Default BD10 Cams Opinons Please

My new engine has a brand new set of BD10s, having never driven a cossie with these in, what they like

Been told there propper laggy but would like to know from people with experience.

Iv been in a cossie with a BD10 Exhaust and to be honest didnt really feel any difference.

Can i have your opinions please.

I will take them out if no use and flog them.

Spec is

T34 with 55, On 55lb Blacks, Enlarged Exhaust ports and Iskys if that helps

would need a new map to use them, generally you would gain a few bhp,but loose a little torque

I realise the new map would be needed as my compression is looking to be slightly lower, dont really want to loose torque, im not chasing figures

Cheers J

as J Tech has said - adds a few ponys but at the sacrifice of torque.

Personally id avoid them, stick with the standards or see what else you could possibly get away with using - dependant on valve cut out depths etc.

Normally if only using 1 hotter cam, its the inlet one, so an engine with just a bd10 exhaust sounds a bit of a mismatch.

You mean like you did? And don't give me any bull about them being in the engine already, as we all know THAT's why you bought it .
