Default supercharged rs2000

This is our supercharged rs2000
It is currently running 265 bhp@wheels and 280lbft but is off road and is having bigger injectors and charger so should hopfully make around 290-300 when back on road

Its not the first as a bloke on the RS2000-16v.com did one but wasn't happy with the results and now turbocharging it

His managed over 300bhp i think. He's fitted a Evo running gear

I hadent heard of that one nor has anyone i know but there you go. Im suprised he wasnt happy with the power he made unless he used a shat charger because you should make the same sort of power with a charger or a turbo but you have no lag and we have already managed a 13.8 @107mph at the pod with the power we have so far

Never seen that before looking at the pic i cant see how that would fit in the engine bay with it all mounted(looks more like a rwd set up as in sierra) on the back but fair play if it did

Ian cut some of the bulk head to get the supercharged rs2000 engine to fit and also modified the chassis to also fit an evo gearbox.

ive seen this engine in the flesh being built and alot of work went into the developement getting that huge supercharger to fit.

probably same as above.

if you look on the rs2000 site you will also see that he moved all the brake resouvier and gubbins further back into the bulk head as well.

saw a video on the car above and sounds nice when the charger kicks in on you tube.

Fantastic, really really like proper supercharger conversions.

What i mean by proper is something giving decent power, not some crappy bolt on kits that give only mild increases and makes people think superchargers arnt as good as they really are.

Nice work

Bet it sounds mint too

The body work needs tidying
she is having a respary soon
and some spacers on the back
have be thinking about putting the old rs front bumper on it.
trying to sort the mark 3 out as well
so will have to find some time.

Keep it stock, shouldn't really change the look of an RS2000. Keep it as a bit of a sleeper
