Valve guides...?

How big of a job is it to change the valve guides in a 4x4 head?

Not bad, head off, send away to engineers, refit head. My place charged me £7 per guide to fit and ream to size (I supplied the guides).

You might as well cut/have cut them down, so they don't protrude, into the throat, makes a big difference.
