Paid £40 + postage for mine, with the Obligatory Crack.
Do any come with out it ?? Starting to think they left Ford like it.

Chris, i think it must have been a ford design, almost everyone ive seen have the crack in them

very true, its the heat that does it,ive seen some with 3 or 4 cracks though so some are better than others,suppose it depends on what boost/ppower youve been running

Harvey Gibbs told me that they start cracking with the first year of thier lives, never get any worse and do not effect them one single bit.

both of the ones ive got have just a small single hairline crack in the usual place.
but then both of mine never ran with any substantial boost as i went onto a 2wd manifold at quite an early stage.

I thought mine was knackered when i first saw the small hairline crack
By the sounds of things it's a good one with only 1 small crack
