Default Sierra T3.48 vs. T34.48

HI!

Can someone tell me the difference between a normal Sierra 4*4
turbocharger (T3.48) and a T34.48?
Is it just the compressor wheel and the compressor housing, or also
some differences at the exhaust side?

As you say comp housing/wheel is different and the exhaust housing is MOVED around in realtion to 2wd, so actuator sits in a different postion, but easy to have either way.

So just the bigger compressor wheel, increases the power for about
50-70bhp with nearly the same lag as an original T3 turbo?

wont get a real world 370bhp on a .48, around 350 is usually about max despite what a lot of people say.

Ask a tuner

320 max really on T3 and 350 on the T34, exhaust housings the same but bigger front wheel

You get more lag with the bigger compressor wheel, as it takes more exhaust gas before the turbine wheel has enough force to spin the larger compressor wheel up to a similar speed.

Not my car, I'm afraid, but someone who frequents here a lot, though I have seen this myself on more than one occasion.
