Default which turbo GT30, 35R ...

Assuming my existing turbo is dead, which it appears to be.

A question to those of you that have fitted garrett turbos around this size.

What worked for you?

I believe that getting a GT35R with T4 compatable housing (0.63) would work best from my limited investigation.

Looking at being able to get 600hp eventually and wanted turbo that would handle it. I have an 200 block / greys+greens / RS500 intercooler already so at least I have a start, will need to think about throttle body though. (note not sure on injectors, would need siemens once got to that I assume)

What housing sizes and specs worked... what other bits did you change...

Thanks
Gavan

On further investigation it seems that for my car on the road a bit that GT30 will be better, not as much power but broader, still getting advise though... I only know one person that has a GT30 on, dont know any with GT35.... and as you know it also depends on the rest of the cars setup

if you have that amount of power you should really use 8 grey injecters

Gavan;

what turbo do you have currently? the problem with wanting 600hp eventually means you wont be using the right turbo for the time being. That means you'll have a turbo too big and it will be nasty to drive and probably be a bit laggy

a gt3076 will get you circa 550hp with the correct other bits (cams, ported head, inlet, injectors etc), as will a Roller Bearing t4. if you want 600hp then i think you'll need to look at the gt3082(aka gt3040r)

i "think" anything over a gt3071r will have to be externally gated

with regards to the inlet, a hart inlet should do the trick nicely
