Hi there restored my rs but vin plate is very tred looking and past it i have a brand new vin sitting here was wondering can anyone recommend somwhere that i can send it to get stamped very cheaply i dnt understand why ford want 50 quid plus the vat just to the stamp the plate?

 

do you know how hard it is to get ford to even consider stamping it for you so 50 + isnt alot m8 but you could try other places that does vin tags but they wount allow you to supply the tag they must and have al your documents ready

 

tag plates do them but its still about 50 quid you could do it yourself first if not, then get it done by a firm after.

 

Is there a rule that says they must be stamped? If not, take them to your local engraver and have them do it.
